Even when we cannot be in the same room, lifting a cup feels like a quiet hello, a gentle reminder that we are never truly alone.
I often reach for my Royal Albert teacups, rimmed in gold and scattered with roses. The porcelain is light, almost fragile, yet it carries the weight of memory and tradition. I cannot help but wonder how many women before me sat with similar cups, whispering secrets over tea, or writing letters by candlelight.
In this space we are drawn to the delicate and almost-forgotten elegance of small thing - petals drifting into porcelain, golden teaspoons resting on linen, ink on paper beside a steeping pot.
